Are you team hydrate? I know I am and by the looks of it, so are many others. First everyone was all a buzz with Yeti keeping ice cubes floating around for 48 hours. Then the rise of eco-conscious VSCO girls had Hydro Flask in a chokehold in 2020. But now, there’s a new man in town and his name is Stanley. 

I am here for the keep hydrated movement (70% of Americans are walking around dehydrated. Most are drinking water that doesn’t provide proper hydration… but that’s a whole different topic for another day). I’m even more so here for the reusable cup situation. What I’m not completely here for is the $45 price tag. I mean, holy shit. That’s more than a dollar an ounce. Now, I’m not here to tell anyone how to spend their money. That’s none of my business. If it makes your heart sing to have that at the moment coveted tumbler, babe, get you a Stanley! However, if you’re looking for a cheaper option to lug around to keep you hydrated, stay tuned because I have a few options for you!

I personally went for this Maars Charger 40oz Insulated Travel Mug in black. I really loved the shape of this one. It looked like the weight was distributed more evenly but it still fits in my cup holder. I drink a lot of water (a gallon a day) so the 40oz option is really appealing to me. This Simple Modern 40oz tumbler came highly recommended when I asked people for their opinion on social media. They said they like their design better and they were easier to handle. These are my top two picks for saving a buck but still getting your hydration on. One I have personal experience, and that came highly recommended to me by several different people. I also just ordered a Simple Modern tumbler because I am constantly using mine that I’d like to rotate them while one is taking a spin in the dishwasher.
