May Birchbox

Hello loves!

I know, I know… I’m a little late to this party, but we’ll just call it fashionably late. ha ha. I received my May Birchbox last week and it’s a good one! I had every intention of getting this blog up last weekend, but it turned out to be quite a non-stop weekend followed by a pretty busy week I just didn’t get to it. Better late than never, right? So here we go! Here are the goodies I found inside my May Birchbox.

Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline Eau de Toilette Spray
I am very picky about my perfume and I have to really love it or I won’t wear it. I instantly fell in love with this scent and I really wish they had sent a bigger sample size than what they did. The description card says the scent was inspired by luminescent crystals and combines notes of lotus flowers, bamboo and Nashi pear. It has a very elegant scent that to me is very feminine, elegant, sophisticated and incredibly intoxicating. (Full-size, $47-$64)

Dr. Jart + Waterfuse BB Cream
I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet, but I chomping at the bit to do so! If this stuff really works I think I might buy it in bulk! ha ha This stuff is a four-in-one combo, this cream claims to be a moisturizer, serum, sunscreen and skin-perfecting tint all rolled into a little tube. Like I said, if this stuff really works I can see this being my new beauty secret weapon. (Full-size, $32)

Ojon Volume Advance Volumizing Conditioner
Ojon is most definitely a great product line to begin with. This sample claims to repair stressed strands with an aromatic hair treatment where exotic ojon and monoi oils work together to smooth and hydrate hair. Sounds fantastic to me! Plus anything that will add volume to my hair I am on board with. (Full-size, $25)

Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Flash
This is a super pigmented liquid eye liner that has an amazing shimmer. I love that I received it in Flash because it’s a gold-like color. I also love that it’s waterproof for lasting power and the applicator is pen-like so you have a lot more control when applying. (Full-size, $22)

Twistband Hair Tie
I  personally don’t like this product, but to each their own. At first glance it looks like a tied loop of ribbon, however it’s is actually snag-free elastic. The description card says it will give your ponytail a makeover with these colorful hair ties. For me it’s too thick and too ribbon-like for me to ever use, not to mention they’re pretty expensive. (12 pack, $18)

Extra
The extra item that I got this month is a cute blank notecard. I do love notecards, because I like to keep the simple handwritten note alive in such a digital world.

So there you have it, that’s the run down of what I discovered on my doorstep this month! What did you get in your box?

xoxo,
Amy
