Hello loves!

Have you ever used a product and it totally changed your life? Okay, maybe life changing is a bit of an exaggeration, but I have encountered a product that gave me an experience that was borderline mystical. Now I don’t usually get excited about a razor. So for me go around telling even perfect strangers how amazing this razor is, it has to be pretty amazing.

A few weeks ago the fine people over at Schick sent me their new Schick Hydro Silk razor to try out. Okay lets break for a little back story and fun fact about myself, I am a little OCD when it comes to shaving. I shave everyday. Seriously. I don’t care if I don’t have plans to leave the house, you can bet your little pretty bum that I have smooth legs. Why? Because the feel of even the most micro of stubble makes me want to crawl out my skin. Like I said, I’m a little OCD about shaving my legs. ha ha ha.

Getting back to the Hydro Silk razor. This baby packs five curve sensing blades (the first in razors for women) with skin guards to help prevent skin irritations. And it gets the hydro in it’s name for it’s water-activated moisturizing serum located in the razor head. I promise you, for the first few uses you won’t even need to use any type of shaving cream because of this serum. I’ve been using mine for about a month now so I have to use shaving cream to prevent irritation and razor burn but there is still serum being produced by the razor each shave, which I found impressive. This razor also glides effortlessly on your legs and their every curve. It even took to my knees like it was nothing, and my knees are full of bumps from various falls growing up. Getting a clean shave without nicks is no easy task, but I was able to get the job done without having to go over the same spot multiple times.

I also love the nicely curved soft grip handle, it fits perfectly in my hand and the soft grip keeps your hand from slipping even in the slightest. I’m not used to shaving with an extra blade (total of 5) and I was shocked at what a difference one blade made! My legs were the smoothest they have ever been and the shave lasted longer as well. I didn’t even have to apply lotion to my legs after getting out of the shower because of the clean shave and moisturizing serum. I highly recommend the new Schick Hydro Silk razor to everyone. I’m not kidding, after one use you’re going to wonder where this razor has been all your life. Or maybe that was just me. ha ha.

How often do you shave and what kind of razor do you use?

xoxo,
Amy
