Hello loves!
People are always asking different fashion questions, and I am always more than happy to field any and all questions. One question I get a lot is about updating your wardrobe when the seasons change. You don’t have to run out and buy a whole new wardrobe every time the season changes as long as you have a solid group of basics hanging in your closet.
These are fabulous pieces to have in your closet all year round because they can be mixed and matched with each other or with other pieces from your closet. When the temperature dips you can throw on a cardigan, blazer or leather jacket or go sans the extra layer when the temps seem to skyrocket.
Do you think this collage covers the basics or is there something you would add to the list of must-have basics?
xoxo,
Amy
I think you’ve got it covered!! but p.s. you are definitely the voice of reason, but running out and buying a whole new wardrobe is always so much more fun, lol 😉 xoxo
Haha! I totally agree, Sara! But…. it’s always more fun when you have the money to run out and buy a new one. That being said… I wouldn’t turn down cash donations for a new wardrobe! haha 😉
I totally agree with all of your choices! I’ve been recently trying to clear out my wardrobe to make things more manageable, and I have kept all the pieces you mentioned. If I had to add to it, I might add in a shiftdress in a darker seasonless fabric. I wear mine soooo often (to work, to parties, on the weekends, etc, You can see an example of how much I’m obsessed here: http://loveyourclothesloveyourself.com/2012/08/14/1-dress-unlimited-ways/)
I also am dying for some leopard flats! I love the ones you chose – what brand are they?
Thank you so much!! I totally agree with the shift dress, I love love love shift dresses! I can’t find the exact pair there but here is a load of different pairs: http://www.zappos.com/flats/CK_XARC11wE6AokR4gIDAQIH.zso?zfcTest=pd%3A0 I’m sure you’ll find a pair from there you can’t live without! 🙂
Thank you! I’m def going to have to snag a pair before Fall is over. 🙂
