Hello loves!

Now that the leaves are changing and /or falling I am ready to embrace fall. I’m a warm weather summer time kind of gal and I will hold on for life for every ounce of summer I can squeeze out of it. Well, here in Cincinnati the summer well has run dry. And atlas I accept fall is here to stay.

I don’t hate fall, I think it’s gorgeous! I just hate the cold that it brings. But I do enjoy drinking all the homemade warm pumpkin lattes I can, the thrill of the holidays upon us and fall fashion. Oh, fall fashion how I love thee!

While this season black is officially the new black again there have been bursts of rich and delicious colors. The one color I can’t get out of my mind is blue. Cobalt blue is in it’s spotlight this season and I am totally obsessed! One of my favorite ways to wear the season’s hottest colors more often is but using them in my manicures. Per usual I get certain things whether it be an item of clothing, home décor, beauty product, etc. in my head and I just have to have it. I will search until I find it or find something close enough that I can alter it myself to fit the vision in my head. Like I said, per usual this was happening to me when it came to blue nail polish. I had a specific shade of blue in my mind that I wanted… I wanted a darker take on cobalt blue but I wanted something a little more rich and not as bright.

And that’s when I found it! Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Sapphire Siren. It is perfect! It fit the vision in my head 100%! I was so excited that I found it that I just had to give myself a manicure the second I stepped in the door. That’s a first for me!
