Warby Parker Debuts Latest Collection

Hello loves!

I’m sure you’ve heard this old wives tale…

boys don't make passes

Well, I’m here to tell you it’s a lie. A big load of a lie, as a matter of fact! Many women wear glasses and it doesn’t make them look unattractive. In fact, you can look really sexy in glasses. Another plus? When you wear glasses our society perceives you as more intelligent. Who doesn’t love an intelligent and sexy woman? Don’t believe me?

Here’s Marilyn Monroe wearing glasses, she’s a bonafide sexy symbol with or without glasses. I don’t know about you, but I think Linda Evangelista looks absolutely smokin wearing glasses!

Even I wear glasses!

If you do wear glasses you may have heard of Warby Parker eyewear, if you haven’t then I suggest you take note! As you know prescription eyewear can be outrageously priced, but it doesn’t have to be! That’s why Warby Parker was created. Four close friends set out to create boutique quality, classically crafted eyeglasses and sunglasses that is available at a revolutionary price point. And this is exactly what they managed to do!

Oh, but it doesn’t stop there either! Warby Parker is eyewear with a purpose! With almost one billion people worldwide who lack access to glasses Warby Parker became determined to address this issue. That’s why they have partnered with non-profit organizations like VisionSpring to ensure that for every pair of Warby Parker glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. How awesome is that?!

Today Warby Parker is launching their brand new limited edition Palm Canyon Collection of eyewear. For this collection they have reinvented some of their most loved frames including Winston, Duckworth, Preston and Wheeler in a Palm Springs palette. This collection’s palette includes that of mesquite, acacia, ironwood and sand. The patterns are inspired by Color Field painters and mid-century minimalists with each frame featuring a hand-mixed acetate inset at the end piece.

The designing and constructing process of creating the frames in the Palm Canyon Collection required a technique that took over a year to perfect! Each pair features a unique contrast of detail that was created by melding sheets of woodwork inspired acetate and tortoise acetate together thus meaning no two pairs are alike.

Palm Canyon Collection frames are available for $145 online at WarbyParker.com and at Warby Parker stores and showrooms.

xoxo,
Amy
