Bad hair days. We all have them and we all despise them. In fact, we’ve all had a bad hair day that has lead us to take drastic measures – some of which could result in weeks (if not months) of bad hair days. We’ve all had our turn staring in the mirror cringing at our hair. Because of these bad hair days the hair care is a billon dollar a year industry. That’s a lot of money!
There are so many types of hair and even more options and solutions for your hair needs that when you find a great product it’s worth its weight in gold! With the advances in hair care it also means the advances in research and technology has shown us that some of those ‘great’ hair products are actually causing more harm than good, not only to you but also to the environment. Yes, ladies, products other than just hair spray are harming the environment, it’s just the obvious culprit because of the cloud of mist it produces. Every time you wash or style your hair you are inhaling phthalates, artificial fragrances, aerosols, and other harmful chemicals.
Lucky for us though there are some people in the hair industry that have stayed on top of the game so that there are products on the market that are eco-friendly and just as effective as their popular conventional counterparts. When you think of natural and organic hair products your probably have visions of hippies, but that’s not the case anymore! The eco hair industry has come a long way to make their products eco chic. However, let’s be honest, some of those hippies do have long, bouncy, and luscious locks… am I wrong?
Have no fear if you’ve never tried organic hair products before, I’ve created a list of some of the top organic hair products currently on the market!
