I absolutely cannot believe it’s August already!!! Where in the hell did the time go?!?! I live for summer and it always depresses me when it comes to an end. So I’m busy trying to savor and squeeze every last drop I can out of the season. Which mostly means I’m basically living in my pool sipping on a cocktail or I’m sitting in my Buddha Garden sipping a cocktail. Which is probably the reason my summer body went to the wayside, but I digress.
Regardless of how you’re spending your summer you need to take some time to kick back, relax, and enjoy a cocktail. Why? Well, one is because… um, hello, it’s still summer! And two, I discovered the best (yes, seriously, it is absolutely the best!) tropical sangria that will ever grace your tastebuds. It’s full of mango, kiwi, pineapple, coconut rum, and white wine. It’s divine!! Here’s how you make this deliciousness from Tasty…
3 small mangos, diced
3 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 cup coconut rum
1 bottle white wine
2 cups pineapple juice
1. In a pitcher, pour the coconut rum over the mango and kiwi. Chill for 1 hour.
2. Pour in the rest of the ingredients and stir.
